It has been a crazy holiday season here. I have always said that my kids were not going to believe in "Santa", I would tell them all about how Christmas is Jesus' birthday and that is the real reason we give & recieve presents. And for the record, I did do that but everywhere we went, there was Santa! We saw him at church, we saw him at school & the ECI christmas party. Everywhere we went, Santa was sure to be found. I have more pics of my kids with Santa than I thought were possible. Capt. Chaos kept asking me if Santa was going to give Jesus any presents. It was like he was trying to figure out in his head how Santa fit into the whole Christmas is the birthday of Jesus. Maybe next year he'll understand it a bit more:)

These pics I think turned out adorably The Church had left these decorations up after their Christmas Concert and the lights were on so I snapped these after school let out:)

I love his expression here. Its the "I won" look. He was such a fuss while I was taking his pic before Capt. Chaos got out of class. I wanted a pic of our new skill- sitting un supported. I know he can do it long enough for me to set him up & then snap a quick pic- I wasn't even looking for a quality pic, just some photographic evidence that he can do it. But he wasn't having it- no way no how. I had to support his head. So I set him up, said, "Fine, You Win!" & he flashed me this super grin:)
You can't tell me he doesn't know what's going on :)

What a wicked cute grin! I know how hard that is with the Santa thing. We've had this discussion before...Thankfully Faith has no concept of the santa thing. Not to mention...she is totally freaked out by the big guy! LOL!

I wouldn't even try (telling you he doesn't know) because that would be just wrong! Definitely cute in the photos - both of them. That is a particularly pretty backdrop.

Heh. We taught CollegeSon from the beginning that Santa was symbolic of Christmas. But at 4 years he convinced us to let Younger Teen believe. She was so sad the day she realized.

Sorry for the reminiscing. So glad to see your words and the boys again! Missed you! Thanks for stopping by my place. Barbara
