Back when we still had the snow, I was able to get Little Man strapped to my back so he could get some outside time too. I think he liked it. He looked like a mini "michelin man" when I was done dressing him! With all the clothes he was padded enough that he fit real well in the back pack:)
More standing pics! For the most part, Little Man will tolerater it really well when he's in the mood- like 30 minutes at a time. When he is not in the mood- well, we might be able to make through a reading of "Green Eggs and Ham"
Not sure if these pics can show it, but my wonderful Hubby made a few adjustments to the stander. The chest piece, we decided was a bit too high & let him "cheat" a little more than I like. He also lowered the middle leg piece so he was less inclined to "sit" on it. Our PT & ECI coordinator were so impressed! His nutritionist was thrilled as well. He will not only be strengthening his legs & getting upright, it also helps digestion! :)
Speaking of my fantastic Hubby, here he is riding my horse. Way back in Jan. it was my birthday & he said I could splurge a bit so I got a new saddle:) I hav'nt ridden western since I was in college but my Sarah (that's the horse's name) did'nt seem to mind. She and my other horse Emily have had quite the cushy, work sporadically lifestyle since the kiddos were born. Hopefully when Capt. Chaos stsarts school full time I can get more time to ride. Its truly cheaper than therapy:)
Matching Jammies! I saw these in Cabella's on our way back from Ft. Worth one day & HAD to get them! This is the first pic of both boys in them at the same time since previuosly, Little Man thought they were only for spitting up on:( Now that we have diet figured out, very rarely will he spit up:) This was taken last week, while both kiddos were recovering from that darned RSV. Tahnkfully, Little Man escaped with a runny nose, but Capt. Chaos got the brunt of it. I'm so glad they are both back to normal again:)
Anyways, tha's what we have been doing, recovering from RSV. I have also been helping out with a fundraiser at our Church. Its over 100 yrs. old & the main sanctuary needs to be re-bricked in accordance with the historical society since it is an historical structure. This Sunday we are having a dinner for the congregation to inform of the repairs being made. I hope we can raise the $$$ we need. I love my church & would be heartbroken if they had to close the Sanctuary:(

Carla,
I hope you don't take this the wrong way but I love your husband, too! I told Faith's therapists about it and they were so impressed!
Hello! This is Ellen from To The Max. I am glad you are all recovering from RSV, so many families have been dealing with that. Guess what? You won one of the CVS gift cards! Email me your address and I will send along to them!

So glad to see a post from you and that the boys are well again!
Wishing you some more ride time and ample treasure to preserve your church.
I am in the admiring-your-hubby-club, too! Stander adjustments might need to be done often to keep up with his progress.

You know the part when you mentioned the free time you'll have when your kiddo is in school? I totally get it. Elisabeth will start school in the fall (the schoolbus will come get her and everything!) and I will have the house to myself. Ah...the possibilities are endless.... :)
(no offense to my girls, of course, but every mama cherishes a few moments to herself!)
