Our reservation told us to be there by 5pm but for once in my life I was 15 minutes early! Little Man was all bundled up in his stroller, 2 bags packed with toys, blankets & books for both of us. I also took the liberty of bringing my own large Sonic coffee:)

We went inside the building and went to the desk where I asked if they were expecting us. "Oh yes! We love it when the babies come!" I was so relieved because there was a lot of miscommunication regarding this very important date & I was worried that yet again either I or someone else had dropped the ball. But no worries this time! I opted to pay going in rather than going out because just as I was so eager to get in (and eat dinner, wink, wink) I knew I would be just as eager to get out!

We were introduced to the night nurse and shown to our room. It was spacious and fully accessible! How cool is that. My only complaint is that upon sitting on the bed I swear it was made of pool noodles. Very strange. But it went up & down & lifted the front & lifted the back all of which was very entertaining for the Little Man who giggled wildly while riding on the bed:)

You've now been convinced that I am fully off my rocker.
The above picture was the (very expensive) dinner eaten in a nursing home. Last night Little Man & I did our stay (7 hours & 1 minute!) to get into the MDCP program. He now (hopefully! there was no paperwork to sign when we left!) has Medicaid & I have respite.
So now, when we resubmit the paperwork & request for him to get a wheelchair & Insurance denies it again, Medicaid will hopefully help us get said wheelchair. I can then tell Insurance to suck it! See what expensive dinners do to me? I should stick to happy meals.
